Here is the deal------->they will probably be able to block Trump from keeping their money from them; but Trump will be able to throw a few of the mayors, etc in jail for breaking the supremacy clause of the constitution. States rights have nothing whatsoever to do with this, IF there is a federal law covering it. Now the state DOES have the right to use stricter enforcement by passing a law, but it does NOT have the right to use less, IF the feds request they enforce the law.

Always remember, the bill of rights were PURPOSELY created as NEGATIVE rights, not positive ones. In other words, the rights were created under the guise of NOT what you COULD do, but rather what the government can NOT do to you! That is one of the reasons Obama kept losing in court, because he tried to DENY people the right to enforce the law without changing it.

That is where the Democrats are going to run into trouble with SCOTUS, and in all honesty, run in to trouble with citizens if the Republicans had any brains. I got a buck 3.80 that someone is going to ask........why break the supremacy law; thus ignore the illegal immigration laws when you can change them! What is the Democratic answer? BECAUSE THE CITIZENRY DOESN'T WANT IT CHANGED!

Where is the Democratic legislation to change the illegal immigration laws? Show them to us! Who are the sponsors and co-sponsors?
