In my opinion, China showing their hand to Trump may have just forced Trump to do what is ultimately right for the West and Judeo-Christian values and liberty: he may now be forced to cut China off and have their economy sink. They know damn well that a 100% tariff increase could sink the Communist Party.

If Reagan were alive he would celebrate loudly. China is running a $1 TRILLION dollar a year trade surplus and they flaunt this. They believe it is "unfair" that they can't continue to exploit the world through slave labour and cheating.

China set the rules for corporations to operate there including sharing I.P which sunk the Wests advantage and trillions of dollars in investment to develop their patents etc. Now America MUST make China pay a steep price, an "equalizer" for all of their cheating from their currency to their lack of human rights, use of slave labour etc.

I have nothing against China or the Chinese, but I support American Values for the world and I want them to win this fight. The Communists want to win also. The world has to choose and Europe in particular is infiltrated to support China and reject American liberty. It's time for Trumps and the CIA to do their best to ensure this doesn't happen. They have already done immense harm to Europe.

I've read many stories of how in East Germany especially due to the close proximity how they would sneak in Western goods, music and movies. Led Zeppelin and the Beatles, big Hollywood movies. They were just as important as the spywork being done on the ground.

Freedom drives creativity and human passion. As Stalin said, "ideas are more powerful than guns".

Americans don't support the invasion of some desert in the M.E, they would support war in defense of a nation being bullied (Taiwan) or a direct attack against them of course.

I think they will respond, for the very minimal reason of saving face for their party. They are very inflexible and quite sensitive to any nation who dares challenge them, even the mighty America.

They know though, like as that which occurred when Trump first took office; any tariff increase by America which is designed to hurt China will succeed.

When Trump hit with with 150% tariffs a few months ago there were brave men doing the unthinkable such as hanging a banner saying "down with the communist party" etc.

These small pebbles in the water can become a tidal wave if the West decides to put our lives and future ahead of cheap, and temporary profits for Wall Street.

Russia backed down because it takes 2 weeks to fuel their missiles and ours can fire in minutes. After Carter cut defense to dangerous levels Reagan rebuilt it. The USSR was already in a death spiral and yes their arms race helped it along.
