I've been worried about this for a very long time. The GOP Establishment is too rigid and self-centered to reach out to everybody opposing Democrat tyranny. If it keeps it up, all the of glowing polls just might disappear and the November vote will go to the liberals.

We can only keep our fingers crossed.

Immigration reform is really quite simple. Pass the Dream Act and allow those brought here as children through no fault of their own a chance to become American citizens. It's the moral thing to do. Change our immigration laws to make it easy for anyone who wants to come here and work to be able to. Give them a green card at the border and let them be on their way. Do not allow non-citizens to collect public benefits. After so many years of a resident alien demonstrating they can provide for themselves and their family allow them to apply for citizenship if they so desire.

There is really no reason for our immigration system to be so complicated. What I'm proposing is even more stringent than it used to be in the Ellis Island days.
