China has no motive to do that. In fact, it would be devastating to their own economy and they also know they would pay an enormous price militarily.
So there is literally zero chance.
What I would be far more worried about is a terrorist attack of same.
It would not be difficult to make an attack from within the U.S. bringing in material via our porous southern border.
Quack like a duck.....Now you accuse me of being an agent for China.
And you think you are the picture of sanity? You are a nut job.
Quack like a duck.....
An attack on our power grid won't make the US Military go away. We have capable assets deployed around the world. Retaliation would be swift, and severe...Please....elaborate.......
Their main competitor and the only power with a military that can face them is just gone.......with a flip of a switch, possibly combined with Special forces attacking other points.....having crossed our open southern border..........
No one else can match their military, they now have access to the entire United STates with our natural resources and food production...since none of that would be destroyed........and all they have to do is land here with ships and people...and turn the power back on...
LOLAnd you think you are the picture of sanity?
It's also why we need to keep fossil fuel power alternatives. Unlike with "green" (and nuclear) energy, fossil fuels can be more easily transported for local energy generation. That's why we need a dumb grid, not a "smart" grid.
Y'all need to relax. "Take over" the United States? Think about it.And? If they take us out, they can have our entire country....

In an instance such as that..? Yes.Why do you believe that? You would need an administration willing to attack civilians in China......do you think the people in charge in Washington would have the guts to do that? And the Gender warriors in the U.S. military? Do you think they can pull themselves away from gender pronoun seminars to turn the keys to launch death and destruction against innocent Chinese Civilians?

They look at things long term......and being able to take over the American continent with our food and natural resources would be huge for them......again, in 6 months without power, the estimate is over 90% death rate for Americans........imagine if they shut the power off Dec. 1............
"Losing customers" is a very good reason. The fact that any invading force would be slaughtered in a matter of days is another. The fact that China has nowhere near the capacity to move large numbers of troops all the way to the US makes it a moot point. And you may not have thought of it, but I'm pretty sure the CCP has given some thought to what a desperate nuclear superpower might do if left with few other options. You would have to give a better answer than to just give me a thumbs down.
Why would the Chinese communists not destroy the U.S. power grid?
And "losing customers," is not a strong enough answer when you are dealing with strategists who think in the long term...
To take over everything....all of our natural resources and food production, and they would also be in position to be the ruler of the world after that.......
