He won't close the border.
He could have closed it and kicked out illegals a long time ago like Trump did. Hell by reinstating trumps actions he could have had a lot of the work done for him. But he refuses to close it and report illegals.
All he does is blame trump and Republicans for the open border by not agreeing to his bill that doesn't actually do anything but allow illegals to come in. He could close it on his own, but he doesn't.
The strain on our economy, the drugs brought in, the rapes, the murders, the crime, the inflation due to spending on illegals and more, all of it is his fault and he will not stop it because he wants this and so do his benefactors.
The only way he closes the border is a last minute hail Mary to win voters. But he still won't close it all the way, he will just say he will and it will take time that won't ever actually come. It will just be drug out until they are in power again then it will go back to business as usual.

No, but:The U.S. Congress has approved $7.1 billion in funding for economic support to countries in the Pacific in exchange for an exclusive U.S. military presence on their territories. This is reported by The Financial Times.
It is about Palau, the Marshall Islands and Micronesia.
The newspaper specifies that this funding is part of the bill to allocate $460 billion for some federal agencies, which was supported by the U.S. Senate.
The area of the three island states is small, but their territorial waters cover a total of 4,000 kilometers, which gives the United States strategically important access to the Pacific region. In these countries, according to the FT, the U.S. has the ability to deploy missiles, long-range radars, and test intercontinental ballistic missiles.
