If you want to deal with that issue it has to be bipartisan one party can't do it and defunding the police is not a solution. The police who are involved in shootings do face charges if the evidence supports the charge a Grand Jury is not made up of just Republicans or Democrats nor is trial jury as far as I know ones political leanings are not part of the process in selecting jurors for either. You are very wrong as usual the Democrats did incite violence last Summer you can incite violence by ordering the police to stand down during these riots you can incite it by limiting the non letheal options the police can use to break up the riot you can incite it by taking no legal action against those who were rioting arresting people that night and letting them out of jail the next morning so they can do it again that night Democratic leaders in these cities and states where the rioting was the worst did all of these things. The riots in Portland went on for three months before Joe Biden said anything and all he did when he finally did address it was issue a bland generic statement about condeming all violence hardly a strong forcefully call for calm. There was also another riot in Portland on New Years eve interesting how we didn't hear anyone address that.
