What these radicals are pushing for, is to strip anything that doesn’t conform to their racist, xenophobic, misogynistic and homophobic brand of radical Christianity, from the public school system.

They’re proposing a radical wing curriculum to ensure children learn nothing which challenges their white Christian nationalist view of the world, or “American exceptionalism”.

Legislatively, these are the same people who are seeking to ban abortion, birth control, and restrict voting rights for minorities and poor people.

Serious question. DeSantis has done more than any other candidate or recent president to increase the power of the state over individual rights and no one seems to care. Is conservative ideology changed in terms of using the state to enforce it’s desired social outcome?

Being a "heathen" is not indicative of a lack of morals. Being religious is no indicator that you are moral. Look at all of those religious leaders who got caught living high on the donations, having sex with church workers, and hookers. One minister said he was just "talking with the prostitutes trying to save their souls". That's not what the hookers said. More than one of these anti-gay evangelicals got caught with rent boys.

And as for need laws to restrict the bahviour of leftists, given that no Democrat in either Obama's Administration, Biden's Administration and only one cabinet member of the Clinton Administration was ever charged with a crime, while more than a dozen Republicans have been tried and convicted in the same time frame, and dozens more are currently under indictment or are unindicted co-conspiractors at the moment.
