Trump is selling a pretty good program. Let's stop the insane trade policies that have deindustrialized this country. Sanders talks pretty much the same. Is it any wonder these two guys pack in the crowds and have the ownership class worried? As far as stopping the mass illegal immigration, Trump may sound like he's going a little too extreme, but maybe he's not. When Mexican drug dealers start to put bounties on presidential candidates, and we really have no idea who the hell comes into this country, and in how many numbers, then it's time to rethink our basically, open border policy.
Yeah, let's give the US far more low paid jobs and not bother to educate the workforce so it's got the skills to do the jobs that pay a lot of money. Hell, in 20 years time the US can be doing all the low paid manufacturing for China, rather than the other way around, and the educated Chinese can be making a fortune of low paid US workers......
You can see when a country is on the way down, the people get weird ideas that make no sense.
As opposed to no jobs?
You think everyone who isn't a scientist should be unemployed?
I don't think you quite understand.
There are low paid jobs and there are high paid jobs. Those who want a low paid job can do the things like working in a shop to serve those who do higher paid jobs.
While most first world countries are looking to beef up education to make their workforce employable in the future, the US is going about at trying to get more low paid jobs into the country so they don't have to pay for education.
As for your question, the answer is no.
So we import "geniuses" from India under the guise that Americans don't have the skill set.
What "skill set"? It's never defined by CEOs.
If Indian is supposedly breeding "geniuses", why do they need to come to the US?
Heck, if Indian is supposedly breeding "geniuses", why are they brokering technology deals with Israel?
Too tragic as we bring them in to do grunt coding and they go to Israel to develop new technology.
Then corporate America comes up with some nonsense that no Americans have any skills to do anything except go on food stamps.
The skillset?
Work for minimum wage, be compliant and be available 24/7.
