Why would an American vote for Trump in 2024?

Trump supporters are very emotional people, who rage against empirical data, such as election results certified by all fifty states. and the plethora of substantive evidence and corroborative sworn testimony - mostly by Republicans -that has caused grand juries to recommend 91 criminal indictments against him.

Their object of veneration’s loss in the 2020 presidential election that he still cannot handle has triggered their contempt for the democratic process, law enforcement, our justice system, and the U.S. Constitution.

Why they worship the grievance-mewling, narcissistic sexual abuser is a mystery to many.

What did the faded reality tv performer do as President that instills such fanatical passion, causing them to lash out irrationally at anyone who cites the empirical data?

Let’s put aside both the mindless adoration as well as the moral repugnance, and dispassionately assess Trump’s actual accomplishments as president:

He vowed to build a “big, beautiful wall!” across the Southern border. He insists that he did, but actual evidence of his fake claim cannot be found. In fact, Illegal immigration increased. Apprehensions at the Southwest border had risen by 14.7% in 2020 compared with 2016.

Despite his having brayed that he would revive the coal industry, during his tenure coal production declined 26.5%, and coal-mining jobs dropped by 16.7%

He repeatedly screeched that he would “repeal ‘ObamaCare’ and replace it with “something terrific that covers everybody at “less cost!”, but three million Americans lost health insurance coverage during his tenure, and the Affordable Care Act remains the law of the land, and became more popular than ever.

2020’s Loser promised to end the military farce in Afghanistan, but perpetuated the Bush fiasco throughout his four years.

He boasted that he would create jobs, but unemployment soared under Trump, and the nation’s economic upsurge occurred only after he had been dumped by the American electorate. Under Trump, the economy lost 2.9 million jobs. The unemployment rate increased by 1.6 percentage points to 6.3%.

The international trade deficit Trump promised to reduce went up. The U.S. trade deficit in goods and services in 2020 was the highest since 2008 and increased 40.5% from 2016.

The federal debt held by the public went up, from $14.4 trillion to $21.6 trillion.

Trump’s recently demanding that his Congressional lickspittles scuttle bipartisan legislation that addresses border security so that the crisis can persist and th President can be blamed evokes Trump’s own impotence in the matter:

Rightest Congressman Chip Roy: “We're not just going to pass the buck and say, 'Oh, any president can just walk in and secure the border. "I saw former President Trump make that allegation today on one of his social media posts: 'All a president has to do is declare the border is closed, and it's closed.'
"Well, with all due respect, that didn't happen in 2017, '18, '19 and '20. There were millions of people that came into the United States during those four years.”

So, hysterical rage against Americans who do not venerate Trump aside, what do Trumpers cite as his stellar achievements during his tenure?
“Why would an American vote for Trump in 2024?”

Because he’s misinformed, frightened, and ignorant.

Perchance, amidst his plethora of unfulfilled campaign promises, rebuilding the nation's crumbling infrastructure is a factor for some since it is another one that the President is fulfilling for him.

Funny you should ask this just at time when nobody will be voting for Biden.

Why would a voter vote for Trump? Simple ,,, Joe Biden,

You are calling Fauci a "low level bureaucrat"? Seriously?

Yes, low level bureaucrat.
Not head of CDC
Not deputy to head of CDC

AND
Not a guy who told Trump to be a moron on national TV.

Why would a voter vote for Trump? Simple ,,, Joe Biden,
Trump remains toxic to Middle America, and his imminent close up and personal exposure by our justice system and his hysterical denunciation of it, as he persists in crapping on democracy, are unlikely to endear him to many. He failed to hide evidence and intimidate witnesses, and his desperate need to delay justice is likely to meet with only partial success.

The latest NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll found that almost two-thirds of suburban voters have an unfavorable opinion of Trump and, in a head-to-head matchup, Biden leads Trump by 16 points with suburban voters.

Will the President take credit for the thriving economy? No doubt.

Trump's record of failure is compounded by the sexual abuser's multiple felony indictments.

Meanwhile, the increasingly confused old geezer's whining about the President's lapses fails to draw a distinction.

To many people Trump has showed how corrupt and dishonest our legal system is. For example Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden can get away with at the best negligently handling of classified information but not Trump.

It is obvious to fair minded people that the object is make sure Trump can’t run or will lose his attempt to be re-elected. The Swamp must be protected at all cost.

The head of NIAID is only one level below the head of the CDC on the org chart. Fauci's boss was the head of the NIH, which is the same level as the head of the CDC. They both report to the head of HHS, who reports to the President.

Fauci turned down the offer to head the NIH multiple times, he was exactly where he wanted to be. He could have had the top spot anytime, had he wanted it.

The only level above that is cabinet level (political appointee)- it is utterly absurd to call Fauci a "low level" bureaucrat. FFS, he was paid more than the people above him, including the POTUS.

I will agree Trump is very polarizing which is why I supported DeSantis. However Biden has serious problems involving influence peddling. There is no doubt he has memory issues. Add to that the illegal immigration problem. The Big Blue cities are finding they can‘t afford the number of illegals arriving in their cities without cutting services to their citizens. Pissed citizens vote.

The Dems need to find a replacement for Biden and do it quickly.

Like I said...
Low level bureaucrat.

Thanks for confirming it.

Pres
HHS
NIH
The Good doctor.

Hell son.
I work for a corporation with 20k employees
I sit 4 levels below the CEO
And, other than being the guy they turn to when the fan and the feces dance
I ain't crap.

Ever hear of Fauci before 2020?
No?
There's your proof.

Trump had him there to lend credence to Trump's stupidity.
Didn't work
Unfortunately for Trump, Fauci is an honest man
Not something Trump is equipped to handle.
