There was legitimate discussion going on despite the personal attacks being thrown back and forth. Wouldn't a simple warning suffice?

I've noticed there are a couple of mods here that like to jump on the closed button pretty fast when THEY don't like how things are going. I guess, as a mod, that is their right, but you are right, a warning first would be nice.
