What Trump is doing is priming the public. He's working overtime to convince the American people to not trust the media. The reason is because he fears the media will be the ones who eventually expose anything illegal he may have done or will do. So in preparation for that big day when the shit hits the fan, he's hoping America will believe the lies he tells to cover up his wrong-doings over the media's reporting on them.
