Such Jews do not want a nationalist "state" they never did and were opposed to the founding of Israel, they knew what this would bring - death - and they were right.

What we today call "Ultra Orthodox" was in fact typical of most Jews in the diaspora when migration into Palestine started, they are actually simply "Jews" as we have known them in many parts of the world for centuries.

The right wing nationalist Zionists used to be a tiny minority but now far outnumber normal, sensible peaceful Jews.

Nonsense, children under 14 are turned over to the PA and everyone held in administrative detention has a lawyer and has a hearing every two weeks in which the state must prove to the court that it is necessary for security reasons to hold him longer. Cases involving abuse of the system can be taken up by the High Court of Justice if they have substance.

Palestinian parents raise their children to hate Jews and admire acts of terrorism against Jews, and then suddenly cry foul when these children get into trouble for doing exactly what their parents want them to do. As Golda Meir said, when the Arabs love their children more than they hate Jews, there can be peace. Of course peace is not something you yearn for, so you continue to laud sending children into war.
