As an example, conservative Muslims have conservative views abortion, which some social conservatives would agree with. However, some social conservatives are racists or xenophobes, and fear Muslims because they tend to immigrate from countries whose people are dark-skinned.

In the long run, their xenophobia may hurt their cause, since they would prefer the company of a woke pro-abortion activist who has white skin than they would a conservative Muslim who they view as "too dark" or "too foreign" for them.
