My buddy who is also in his 50's and single sent me this. It's so spot on

Some of the things I related to. Older guys have no interest in meeting someone, going on a few dates, in hopes that maybe she's the one. Emotional fatigue. Tired of the process and how fast the connection can be lost.

A guy who's happily married for 10 years and his wife dies is going to want to go out and find someone else because he was successful in finding a soul mate. Us older guys have seen too much failure to believe the next one could be the one.

We've seen too many times that attraction can fade quickly and without warning. Loyalty is conditional. It's not being cynical it's realistic. How quickly I can go from in love to not in love. Scar tissue. Each experience hardens us. Slow to trust. Being alone doesn't mean being lonely. Hobbies, purpose, freedom. We value ourselves. Starting over is regression. Peace is Invest in ourselves.

Companionship without respect is not worth the effort
Peace is not negotiable.

I see a lot of guys who have to walk on eggshells around their wives. Or they say they pick and choose their arguments. This is because they don't want to be alone. You have to compromise to live with someone else. Us single guys haven't met anyone who made us want to take them into our homes and have to listen to them nagging.

Ya, I am not jumping up and down to put some one in my home. The women I like to hang out with these days are blood relatives. Except my God daughter but I have known her literally since birth. Speaking of which her father has a massive stroke on Christmas Eve. Scared the you know what out of us. He made it through surgery and is talking but had little control or movement of right side. He has a long road for recovery ahead.

If you are married, one of you is going to die alone. Do you not realize that?
I am not married anymore. Well, technically.I am still but that is ending soon. Dont turn your back on society.

We're not 19 with raging hormones anymore.

We have no time for filghty, neurotic, excessively emotional drama queens in our lives.

The saying goes "life's too short"...Well, it's even shorter now, and there's no room to waste mental and emotional bandwidth on with women who don't have their shit together.

There, I said it.

If my wife passes before me I'd have no interest at all in taking on another woman's baggage.

I have a lot of single ladies around me. Not interested in cohabitating with any of them. And the ones I would be interested in, are not interested in me. There's one in particular I could see myself with but I have a feeling she feels the same way us older guys feel. That's the vibe I get from her. So it's not completely one sides. Older women don't care as much as they did when they were younger too. And if they are single, they know failure too.

I remember when my grandmother was probably my neighbors age and I wondered why she didn't remarry. They like to say it's out of loyalty to their departed wives or husbands but I bet you if they were 30 and widowed, they'd wed again. It's a lot easier to be loyal to your departed spouse at 60 right?

I wish handjobs was a legal form of massage. That's all I want. Just every once in awhile for a lady to come over and wack me off with some lube on her hand. Then go.

If someone is happier and more peaceful alone, then I don't mind leaving them alone.
Investing in oneself does not include convincing others, and selfishness is not any sign of respect for others.

There are so many AI videos (like this) on YouTube now, I can't watch them anymore.

We all die alone, you might have someone at your side, you might not, many people don't. It's how we live that matters, and some people are happier by themselves.
Earlier today I heard this in Jumanji 2. The character said "thank you for my wonderful life". I agree with that. No matter who's in my hospital room when I pass, or if I have a heart attack at home alone, I had a wonderful life. I think it's funny when people say "you will pay someday". Yea? We will all pay some day. But my wonderful life and Trump's tells me that sometimes good things happen to bad people and bad things happen to good people.

I just want to outlive my dog and my dad. But my dad is really healthy I tell him he's going to outlive us all. He says "don't say that" but he has outlived all his wifes family. He's the only ****** left. LOL. Oh I want to die and go see ma he says all the time. Yea right ******. You're going to outlive us all. I say that to him. I tell him he's Fred Sanford. "Elizabeth, I'm coming to join you" for 20 years. LOL.

Don't you have any Asian massage parlor's where you live? You go there long enough and earn the trust of someone, you can work that out.

Well, that's what a friend told me. ;)

We're all social animals, we need human companionship. Have you heard that being alone is the equivalent of smoking 15 cigarettes a day?

If you're alone, and retired, you have the freedom to do whatever you choose. Take advantage of it. Get on a plane and fly somewhere, meet other people, I travel solo all the time. So many people do these days, it's not unusual, it's very common now.

I've done an extensive amount of research on Chinas influence in the West, enough to be both shocked and impressed with their commitment.

Did you guys know that the CCP viewed the targeting of Canadian police as easy due to their unchecked powers and lack of character? Why I raise this is the following: they want Canadian police to divide their own citizens, to maintain the caste as it works for the CCP. This means more homeless, more single men, more unhappiness, easier targets for the CCP to conquer.

In time the CCP will probably come to the same conclusion about U.S police (if they haven't already) but I digress...

In the 1990s there was a well known Chinese criminal narcotic kingpin operating out of B.C or Ontario, perhaps both. According to police whistleblowers, police agencies captured photos of Justin Trudeau either with this kingpin or entering/leaving his home. Nothing was done about it, since China knows how corrupt and easily controlled Canadian police are so that even years later it wasnt public.

Many years later at a time when I believe Trudeau was now P.M there was a massive raid on a major criminal organization. I posted it on here at the time. Dozens of arrests, tens of millions of dollars in business.

The Toronto Police had spent millions on this case, it was huge. International and was gaining traction.

Apparently some police sunk the case due to some technicality or another. All of the charges against all of the accused gone. Just like that. These organizations who ran illegal casinos and poisoned citizens all went free. Every single charge dropped. Seasoned Crown attorneys and defense lawyers said it didnt make sense.

In essence, when the West says "we are losing to China", they are correct. The reason they win is that they focus on the powerful who are mentally and morally weak. Politicians and police agencies. They know who they are and they focus on them. They will share a laugh and a smile, the cop thinks he is outsmarting the fox, but he is only outsmarting fellow hens, the CCP are the fox and they aren't laughing with them...

Divide a population, get corrupt police to destroy the best among them, weaken the resolve of the men in a population and eventually they will just walk in. Get police to decimate their own populations, principles and even oaths, if they ever had any.

Some have even provided evidence of childrens toys shipped into the West that have certain lead paint which harms the testosterone of babies who use them. Evil indeed. No less evil than traitors who do harm to their own nation in opposition to men who died for that nation.

So, if you believe that men should die alone you are in effect assisting a broader objective of the CCP. The crocodile may eat you last, but eat you it must...

If I die a widower, I have left instructions that there will be nothing: No obituary, no funeral, no prayers...nothing. Cremate my remains and toss them into one of our lovely three rivers (Pittsburgh). They will not even make a splash. And that is how I want it.
Similar here except I will be buried instead of cremated. The funeral is paid for, headstone in place.......No service of any kind.

I'll be buried here.

See all those little headstones....That was from a whole family that died during the 1918 Influenza outbreak.

I can't help it I'm a dirty old man. I'm 55 and 5 years ago was dating a Belarussian in her 20's for about 5 years. She left me for a richer dude. I don't blame her.

Anyways, there is a beautiful woman my age in my condos and she's a divorced nurse and mother of 2. I should be thinking about her but I'm not. I'm thinking about her 22 year old daughter. Her oldest seems to have her shit together. The younger one is cute if you ask me but she might be a little slow and a little chubby. Maybe on the spectrum but only a little? A slacker. And not hot enough that she can just find a guy to take care of her. To me she's a doll but I'm 55. I'll tell you this. If I had the balls, I'd ask her mom if I could take her out. No way she'd say yes but if that girl would be into me, I'd marry her and take care of all her needs. She's not retarded. She's in college but doesn't know what she wants to do with her life. I think she'd be happy being a stay at home mom or wife. I don't want to have kids so hopefully she doesn't either. A lot of young people don't. I don't even know if she wants kids. Anyways, here is what I would offer. If we marry and never divorce, I'll be dead in about 20 years. You're 22. So at 42 you'll be free of me. Right now we get along and I can get hard ons but in about 10 years you're going to become my caregiver. But when I die, you'll be free with $1 million dollars. Should I propose this to her mom? What do you think she'll say? LOL.
