Why not minimum wage for Illegals?

Did you realize that a lot of illegal as well as legal immigrants in this country work below min wage and it is OK with the law. The law allows farmers to pay people below min wage. Why not eliminate those exceptions so that our illegal population (yes, people can be illegal) gets the same wage as everyone else?
