The primary logic in this operation was to permanently stop Iran from building a nuclear bomb by refining uranium. Second, the goal was to stop the manufacture of missiles, Shahed drones and Iran's military complex. The third and last is the free passage through the Hormuz straits.
I'm not happy about the facts that we will be debating the free passage through the straits.
As it is Iran has agreed to a cease fire although they've already violated the agreement by sending missiles into their once allies in the region including sending cluster bomb missiles into Israel.

As it is, Trump and the U.S. military are actively pursuing regime change in Iran through military strikes and leadership assassinations, claiming to have already dismantled much of the Iranian leadership. They are also negotiating with what they describe as a new, more reasonable leadership in Iran.
Iran has agreed to many points in a proposed peace plan, although Iranian leaders have publicly rejected it.
You view this operation in Iran as failed while I see that every step taken by Trump is planned and successful.

Have any media asked Rubio why securing the Strait wasn't the first objective of the war plan? The only reason I can think of is that leaving its closure as a possibility for Iran would make the whole world realize that it is in perpetual danger of having to kowtow to Iran. But it backfired for America, because now the whole weakling world has no problem with letting Iran extort everybody if it doesn't get its way.
