Why is that ‘girl’ pitching 14 straight shutout innings — because it’s actually a dude.

Actually not. I'd rather they be treated and disabused of any notion they are what they aren't.

That's the difference between me and you. You would rather make the problem worse.
Trump preys on the mentally disturbed and weak....like you.

You are even willing to beat up on suicidal and depressed transgender people, despite your own mental health issues.

I truly feel sorry for you.

If women have to sacrifice any of their "equity" for the sake of appeasing a very distinct minority of people, that's not "equity" that's discrimination.

I said equality, not equity.

Fine, let's get rid of all "girl" related clubs, orgs., leagues, etc.?!?

Women would cease to exist in sports.

Actually, get rid of Title IX and most of them wouldn't care.

Given that you have so few transgender athletes, you are inventing something to panic over.

And that's supposed to make it any better?

Allowing for this behavior substantially increases the risks for women getting raped.

Let it be known to all that Joe is condoning rape.

Wait... seeing someone in a locker room is the same as rape?

This is what you are going with.

You must think women are fragile creatures.

Um, okay. that was at a facility for adults, not children.

YMCA - as in "Young Men's Christian Association" - made famous by a Village People song.

You didn't read the links did ya? They are family facilities. I think you know where you can stick your propaganda.

.

Whatever the term, you're asking women to sacrifice it. You are clearly not for the equity or equality of women in our society.

Now, let's move on.

Actually, I'm all for equality and equity.

If it comes to getting the same pay and getting access to the same oppurtunities, I'm all for it

I realize that as a white, straight, cisgendered male in this society, I have privilege and advantage.

Which is why I support affirmative action, even though three times in my career, that has worked against me in terms of getting promotions.

Are you saying transgenders don't have families.

I actually clicked on the link, and stopped at "Crisis in the classroom".

Edit, sorry, that must have been a different link.

Okay, on the YMCA story.

Public Facility with transgender policies. Oh, and the woman involved was 17, not a child as they tried to make it out to be.

You think this guy has any privilege or advantage?

Why aren't there any women trying to jump the fence to play against him?

Uh-huh. This would be a real surprise to my wife.
Let me ask you something.

Would you defend her if a transgender man tried to violate her in the women's bathroom, YMCA dressing room, etc?

Or would you simply stand there and say, "They have every right to be there that she does."? I think we all know the answer to that.

You mean you support active discrimination?

Cool. You simply said what we all already knew.

No, I support equality and equity. Even though, realistically, not everyone is equal.

All life is a balancing act of competing interests. For instance, many times in my career, I have benefited from being a veteran and getting a veteran's preference. Now, is that fair to people who didn't serve? Is it fair to the guy who was shot at by a testy foreigner, while I spent most of my career behind a desk filing paperwork?

You try to be fair to everyone, it doesn't always work out perfectly.

Now, the argument of most transphobes is that seeing a naked man makes them uncomfortable. That's more a cultural bias than a practical one. In Japan, they have co-ed bathing, as previously pointed out. There's nothing sexual about it. (Reality check, most people look better with their clothes on.)

Or in a fist fight?

No, the primary argument is that perverse men will take advantage of this concept to enable them to rape women. It's the risk of rape, Joe. If you really cared, you wouldn't expose any woman to that possibility.
