Russia is a super power and America now lags defensively behind them, although still a serious power nation .
Of course you look for areas of common interest .
Russia will never directly go to war with Russia and ditto for America attacking Russia direct .
Despite America hiding behind NATO and trying to foment trouble -- Ukraine being the obvious example .
