Affirmative Action has been in place for sixty years. Every POC has benefitted from that legislation at the expense of white people. Why are you attempting to gaslight people with the disingenuous "systemic" claim. To me this isn't about compensating every non-European American, but only those non-European Americans that were born during those Jim Crow law years and resided in those particular States during that period. Since evidently these people factually - fell way behind in regards to social, welfare and economic issues - whilst European Americans did not face this issue due to racial segregation laws not affecting them, but factually giving them an advantage in those particular States.
Furthermore it can't be about paying out directly to people - since who knows for what they might squander those $$.
Therefore the prerequisite would be a State run organization - that would need to work out a Budget based distribution to finance methods that would/could improve the social, economic and educational backdrop of non-European Americans born during the Jim Crow years.
A non-European American born in e.g. 1970 - still faced racial prejudice within the US society (factually until today), but wasn't, isn't restricted in his development via a racial motivated State-law.
Due to the US political system - the other question is, who would have to come up for those $?? the US government, or only the present State governments who's predecessors upheld these Jim Crow laws?
Affirmative Action - hasn't done anything to compensate the VICTIMS that had to suffer, social-economic backdrops under the Jim Craw laws.Affirmative Action has been in place for sixty years. That is exactly what you just claimed reparations were for. Please keep up.Affirmative Action - hasn't done anything to compensate the VICTIMS that had to suffer, social-economic backdrops under the Jim Craw laws.
It is a law that was intended to improve opportunities for African-Americans from 1965 onward.
Every little thing! Imagine if the races were reversed and a white person was calling a black person the N word (although black people certainly aren't offended by it since they use it all the time about each other) and saying that they shouldn't win beauty pageants just because they're black.
There would be so much outrage and they would be blowing up the internet, but because it's a black person being racist towards a white person the media doesn't care at all.
NO - I never stated that - but that reparations should not be paid out in cash to those victims - but to be used to finance future educational and social matter regarding African Americans and to compensate Victims via e.g. contributing reparations into e.g. their pension or social welfare deposits. That is exactly what you just claimed reparations were for. Since 1964, POC have been afforded the exact same opportunities as any white person---more when AA is taken into account.NO - I never stated that - but that reparations should not be paid out in cash to those victims - but to be used to finance future educational and social matter regarding African Americans and to compensate Victims via e.g. contributing reparations into e.g. their pension or social welfare deposits.
Things went on after slavery so go study why reparations in modern times have been given to groups for things that happened during the same time period and stop making ignorant comments.
