You should appreciate how good we have it . No worry of Nuke war, the economy is going along , unemployment is low , the country is doing pretty good .

Yeah right, Timmy. The middle class has been on the decline, along with everything else except the super rich. The economy is limping along and pay has not increased for most, and for many it's gone down. With higher medical insurance costs to boot. many on welfare, food stamps, disability, etc. You wear rose colored lenses while your guy is in office.

The AVERAGE American has over $10,000 in credit card debt.

Many people pay one credit card with another credit card.

Especially when they are between jobs.

Millions of people live in smaller towns where the ONLY jobs are working in a grain elevator, or the local Wal-Mart and there IS no job choice.

But let's not overlook the fact that creating dependence and an entitlement mentality has many people going the life of crime. Only around $0.17 of every federal subsidy dollar goes to people that are actually poor (so you can figure out where the rest goes) and the poor are the hardest hit by the distribution effects of inflation which is largely a product of the fed printing money to buy up federal debt. Yep, it was greed; greed of the American consumer.

It's the American consumer that won't support union or otherwise livable American wages. They will buy the cheapest product in the store and they don't care where in hell it's made at. That's the reason Walmart is number one today and has been for many years.

Manufacturers only provide what their customers wish to buy, and customers wish to buy cheap Chinese junk. Until Americans show some solidarity with their fellow American workers, the problem will only get worse than better. But don't blame the manufacturers, blame the consumer.

There is plenty of choice. My industry needs 46,000 new workers and they can't find them. This is why they are turning to foreigners to do the work; Americans are sitting home on their Obama phone getting fat on SNAP's cards. The others refuse to quit smoking pot so they can pass a drug test at a good company.

With the exception of those who are mentally or physically challenged, the only reason one is not working is because they don't want to work.

I am willing to psy more for american made products. But those who are stuck in jobs(they aren't really jobs) that pay $12 an hour can't pay for food much less pay more. I would pay $10 for an item made in the us that China sells for $3
