There's a reason we haven't needed to fight our own government, and it's not because our government is populated by altruistic civil servants who serve a term or two then go home to live out the rest of the lives, like the FF's did. The number of concealed carry licenses doesn’t tell the tale, particularly since 29 states are now “constitutional carry states.” Unless otherwise prohibited by law, Americans need no license to carry concealed weapons in those states. As I recently noted here at AT, some 36 states allow open carry.
We do know that April was the 57th consecutive month of more than one million gun sales. It’s reasonable to believe tens of millions of Americans regularly carry, and most don’t advertise the fact. But why should anyone carry?

I assume those are Olympic scores. I never been a sports fan. I have participated in turkey shoots, and done fairly well. Other than that I really haven't participated or watched competition shooting.
Well Mr. Lemon, here in the UK, the internet is laughing at the lack of American medals in the shooting. Doesn't seem to match up to the macho gun image Americans try to portray.
Oh. Well, I guess it's part of sports to ridicule the losers. I have no issues with that.
Show them how the gun is locked in a secure cabinet when not in use with the ammo in a locked separate box. Then show them guns shouldn't be carried in public places and and pellets/bullets/shot must be contained within your own land, or the land where you were given permission to shoot. Don't let a minor hold a shell or bullet, loan the gun for them, one shell/bullet at a time. Gun safety is important.
