Nevada, can not go any faster.... this state uses near all paper ballot by mail. This takes more security checks and measures, like signature matches, and a curing process....that allows the citizen to correct their ballot if it has been rejected.
Nevada also allows ballots to be mailed on election day, and those ballots have until the following Saturday to get to the election centers.
These measures along with others, are THEIR ELECTION LAW PROCEDURES in Nevada, which takes more time than other states who have different vote counting procedures.
As a Nation, we HAVE NEVER HAD THE OFFICIAL ELECTION RESULTS on election DAY. We've given the states 3 to 4 weeks to count all of the votes and certify them.
What you are complaining about is the news media not being able to unofficially call, a projected winner on election night.....which is quite different.
And the only reason News media is NOT able to project a winner on election night, as they always have done or have tried to do, is because the races are too close to call....more votes or all votes have to be counted in order to project the proper winner in a close race.
As you can see, races are being called on election night, where there is a clear winner.
Patience is a virtue!
