I received the Hamas response to the United States’ proposal. It is totally unacceptable and only takes us backward.

Hamas should accept the framework proposal we put forward as the basis for proximity talks, which we can begin immediately this coming week.

That is the only way we can close a 60-day ceasefire deal in the coming days in which half of the living hostages and half of those who are deceased will come home to their families and in which we can have at the proximity talks substantive negotiations in good-faith to try to reach a permanent ceasefire.

Whats with the endless trickling out of hostages? If I was the leader of the world, I would say "if every single hostage isnt returned in 4 hours, there will not be a living being in left Gaza in 5 hours. I will completely erase Palestine and its people, and end this conflict once and for all". THATS how you solve this multi decades war.

Hamas wants to keep playing the part of the victim. Hamas wants to keep stealing aid meant for the real victims. Hamas wants to avoid having to admit to the vicious, brutal cold-blooded murder of thousands of innocent people including women and children. In addition to that, Hamas is emboldened by US Democrats, the party that always takes the side of evil against the US's better interest. And the Democrats who are procuring their aid are probably getting their cut off the top, ala Joe Biden.
