"why French Kids Don't Have Adhd"

Hello chickie, lol. I have done my time on site council and I was the head counselor for kids in residential treatment...I've also worked with kids in lock-down detention, as well as those on conditional release from detention (juvenile).

I do have a clue, because I have years and years of working with them under my belt.

You?

Ya, imagine the behavioural scientists focusing on children before they become crazy adults.

Other psychological issues are peripheral interests. But violence is number one since it seems to me the more important area of study.

Right, Delta. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

I especially love the methodologies you're undertaking in these two threads:

Does Pornography Harm Children Who View It US Message Board - Political Discussion Forum

Effects on children seeing their parents nude having sex et al. US Message Board - Political Discussion Forum

Why you're not a scientist and I am I guess.

Omg, you are such a complete joke.

I've been in preschool and lower elementary education for 15 years.

Never recommended that a child get medicated. Never forced them to sing Kumbaya or wear tutus.

You?

I try to never recommend medication... but koshergrl could use some. Maybe one of these:

I'm fully against psychiatric medications in all but the most extreme cases. If someone's so ill they're actively harming themselves or others, or likely to, skip the meds and figure out what's wrong. Medications are more about treating the symptoms than the actual problem. As with ADHD they use stimulants instead of addressing the underlying problem and likely causes of it. The stims are only treating symptoms, not causes.

Yup. Have you heard of applied behavior analysis?

It's a progressive make believe disorder, one of many little avenues they have made use of to criminalize/marginalize/institutionalize those who step outside of the pro-homo, anti-male, statist mold.

Your kid doesn't like to sing kumbaya and dance around in a tutu? He throws things and makes spitwads in class?

OMG MEDICATE THAT CHILD HE HAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH HIM!

Single mom who works full time isn't able to sit down with her kid and help him with his homework, and he's nodding off in class because he stayed up late playing on the ps3 while she was at work?

MEDICATE THAT LITTLE BASTARD!

That's progressivism.

And it's almost always a little boy who is the target for the medication. War Against Boys!

I don't believe you, lol. You're a baby sitter, and if you are a teacher, and you have a teaching certificate, and you've taught for 15 years...then you're lying when you say you've never recommended that a kid be medicated.

Wow you're a huge bitch.

I'm also on the money. Like I said, I have a LOT of experience with kids, particularly *problem* kids.

And for a lot of them, their *problems* begin when a know-it-all, undereducated and arrogant *teacher* tells a parent that they think there's something wrong with their kid..based on the fact that the teacher can't cope.

I'll manage to make it through my week with your suspicions hanging heavily over me.

But you never answered my question. Have you forced kids to sing Kumbaya and wear tutus? You seem to think that that's what goes on at school, maybe it's your preferred way of handling children.

The Pharmaceutical companies want every man, woman, child and pet - on a regular dose of some type of daily medication.

I read an article recently that came to the conclusion that newborn infants would benefit from cholesterol statin medications as long as they took another medication to protect the liver! So yeah, these cocksuckers are out for blood, literally.

I agree with that.

But it's up to patients and patients' guardians to actively participate in treatment. That means questioning the need for any medication.

Not by the new name no, but the previous sure. 'Behavior modification.' Sounds a little "Clockwork Orange" though I'd agree so the new one's better aurally. :)

Well I promise it's pretty much the exact opposite of "Clockwork Orange." Anyways look it up you might find it interesting.
