Do you notice how no one on the American left ever actually talks about communism or Marxism being concepts the US should embrace? For whatever reason, republicans are convinced this is the case. Why I have no idea. We certainly won’t ever talk about abolishing capitalism, specifically.

It has to do with intervening policies that ensure the well-being of people within it through social justice programs. Not defending capitalism is evidence enough. Calls for equality and equity is also revealing. Sounds like:

I still respect Marx in many ways. But his main flaw is that his Utopia can NEVER work because we are human. We have flaws . We fuck up but that's how we learn.and often times, something really good gets destroyed by someone that becomes jealous. But then that's the biggest irony of them all. Marxism is used by guys wearing sheep's clothing. Painting the most perfect picture.in how they will save you.. Only to stab you from the back when you have learned to rely on them.

Like a scientific study... Why keep testing something that you've seen fail and fail again? At some point maybe we should conclude that socialism or communism isn't a viable choice.Capitalism isn't perfect but it sure does beat having a dictator... maybe if we implemented **some** values that have worked from socialism we'd be better off? Still learning though. Maybe there's an even better option out there?
