Dear Republicans - the 2022 midterms should have been a fantastic election for you folks. Joe Biden and the Democrats are not very popular. So, what happened? Mitch McConnell nailed it when he said, "it's the quality of our candidates."

Rather than running moderate Republicans in the mold of Sen. Mitt Romney or Gov. Larry Hogan, todays GOP seems hellbent on supporting election deniers, civil war advocates, and those who support the Jewish space laser connection with forest fires. Republicans, these folks might make you feel good about yourselves, but most voters simply don't support this platform (no matter how much angry name calling Republicans do)

Joe Biden and the Democrats might not be what you want running our country, but the Dem's take public opinion polls seriously, and know where most voters stand on issues such as climate change, technology, the economy, the environment, foreign policy. etc. Maybe you should too.

I keep hoping that people will wake up and nominate better candidates on both sides of the aisle. Lot at the nuts in Congress on both sides of the aisle, look at our President, and those that have run. Seriously in 2020 we had Trump, Biden and Sanders as the three main candidates, in 2016 and it was Trump, Clinton and Sanders as the three main candidates, terrible candidates. Cortez, Greene, Santos and Omar grace oue lawmaker halls, it’s a bad joke.

I hope people will wake up and reject the clowns by voting for a third party.

Most people hover around the center. If one is far left or right that's plain dumb. Centrists make the nation go.

Centrists decide the fate of the nation....because they join either the right or the left depending upon which side has the best marketing campaign for their candidates. (Not that either one is all that great)

In the last Presidential election Biden really didn't have much of a campaign....he hid mostly during his campaign while the blue dogs kept talking about how bad Trump was.
Trump was campaigning but his gaffs were so bad that he couldn't get a really coherent thought delivered to the people when it mattered most.
Thus coupled with the impeachment trial (an obvious joke of nothing but political nonsense) it was seen by the centrist middle that maybe he was bad and we needed another president.

And in this last Presidential election we had one of the highest participation rates of any election. Almost everyone eligible to vote voted....usually only 65% or less of eligible voters actually vote.

Currently the candidates for either party have nothing but pandering to offer. They don't have any agendas except for winning the election.

Lip service only gets you so far...and American voters are getting fed up with pandering. Businesses will weather the interest rates for a while but aren't going to put up with them for long. And they actually determine who wins or loses anymore.

The Energy Department is now saying new intelligence shows the COVID-19 pandemic has been most likely caused by a Wuhan, China, lab leak, a realization long believed by many Americans but once considered a conspiracy theory even by U.S. public health leaders, including Dr. Anthony Fauci.

The Energy Department was previously undecided on the origins of COVID-19, but a classified intelligence report given to the White House and congressional leaders highlighted an update to a 2021 report to Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines, The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday.

Frankly, I don't see how anyone can view the 2020 election as being fair and square, regardless of who won.

Amidst Covid, voting laws, regulations, and rules were changed willy-nilly all across our country. Had President Trump won, you'd be off the walls screaming that the election was unfair/rigged, whatever.

Most Prog voters do not even know their policies. The hidden agendas and hidden laws and programs within larger legislation packages. The nonexistence of where fiat currency went and the lack of seeing much of the hardware done from the legislations.
