First, Trump murders went up by 4,000 in a year. There were 17 murders during BLM protests detailed below and almost all were by cops, right wingers, or unconnected. 3 out of those 17 and 3 out of the 4,000 were protest violence.

• Sean Monterrosa, Vallejo, CA – Shot and killed by police while on his knees in a parking lot. He had a hammer in his waistband, which police mistook for a gun. Officers did not issue a warning.
• David McAtee, Louisville, KY – Local BBQ shop owner shot and killed by the National Guard after law enforcement failed to identify themselves and fired into a crowd. The area was under curfew.

Vehicle Attacks (Right-Wing Perpetrators)

• Robert Forbes, Bakersfield, CA – Struck by a driver while peacefully protesting. The driver was questioned but not arrested at the scene.
• Garrett Foster, Austin, TX – Fatally shot by a driver (Daniel Perry) who drove into a BLM protest. Perry was later convicted of murder.
• Summer Taylor, Seattle, WA – Killed by a driver who struck protesters on a closed highway.

Post-Protest or Riot-Adjacent Incidents

• Two men killed in Cicero, IL – Reportedly by outsiders exploiting unrest. Local authorities blamed gang-related activity.
• Unintentional death in St. Louis, MO – A man caught between two FedEx trucks during a protest was run over and killed. Police claimed the driver was unaware someone was caught.

Unrelated or Opportunistic Crimes (Not Politically Motivated)

• Kansas City – A robbery turned deadly, with no connection to the protests.
• Detroit – Man killed in an unrelated fight nearby, not linked to BLM protests.
• Indianapolis – A shooting amid protests was later attributed to a personal dispute.
• Multiple looters or anti-looters killed (3) – In some cases, property owners or civilians used force during looting incidents.

Protest-Affiliated or Politically Motivated Killings

• Around 3 deaths possibly linked to individuals supporting the protests, usually from confrontations where political or protest-related arguments escalated to violence. However, very few involved organized protest activity or direction from BLM-affiliated groups.
