I said liberal government created policies which resulted in the destruction of the black family. I said government has created a dependent class which often is passed on from one generation to the next.

If anything, liberal programs have elevated black people out of poverty, which is why the Black Poverty Rate declined from 55% in 1960 to 17% today.

A huge number of people on welfare don't get off of it because they don't want to, and most of the Democrats who sponsor welfare programs don't want them to either. It doesn't come out of their pockets. It comes out of ours. As long as the people STAY poor and STAY dependent they will vote Democrat. They can also blame Republicans because Republicans don't have such a history of giving out free shit. And Democrats know it. There's that. It's really not hard to figure out. It's only hard to figure out when you actually believe that most welfare programs are designed to get these people out of poverty and eventually be independent.

I have a local welfare recipient who keeps an eye on my house while I’m away. He was bitching about how much things cost now. I told him he votes for that problem. I can’t explain it to him. He just doesn’t get it.
Democrats have him right where they want him.
