Why conspiracies are so popular — and what we can do to stop them

So that's a slightly modified version of an AP article. The 'kenyan editors' didn't even write it. They just added the words 'kenyan-born'.

And again, who says that the 'kenya editors' knew Obama's family? You made that up. Nairobi is no where near where Obama's family lived. There were 34 million people in Kenya in 2004. None of what you imagined makes sense.

Who says that Obama told 'everyone' he was born in Kenya? You made that up.

You're literally citing your imagination
to justify your irrational emotional attachment to the birther conspiracy. And proving me right with every post.

Thank you. Your demonstrations of the exact process I described is so useful.
They added “Kenyan born” because they knew it to be true AND that perfectly coincided with Obama biography to his publisher AND his half brother and grandmother

Are you saying they’re ALL lying?

No one in Obama's family has said Obama was born in Kenya. You are the one lying.

After all the debunking over all the years of all your crowd's birther bullshit, all you have left is a book jacket misprint. BWA-HA-HA-HA-HA!

By the way, that was also debunked long ago.

No one, including Birther Trump, ever provided any evidence Obama's mother ever visited Kenya.

I mean, I know you all call him the Magic Negro, but being born in Kenya without his mother there really would be a miracle!

.

Here's the rebuttal:
  1. Obama's publisher made it all up without bothering to run it by their unknown, unpublished author;
  2. The Kenya newspaper made it all up because they hate their credibility;
  3. Obama's Kenyan grandmother was mistranslated when she told the reported she witnessed his birth; and
  4. Obama's half brother Malik posted Barry's Mombasa birth certificate.
All lying to hurt your feelz

Says you, citing yourself. And you don't know what you're talking about. You don't know anyone involved. You don't know what editors of some obscure website know or don't know. Yet, as is your habit, you make up what you don't know.

You're offering us your imagination to justify your irrational emotional attachment to your birther conspiracy.

You insisted that the editors knew Obama's family. You made that up. Nor does it make the slightest sense. Obama's family lived hundreds of miles away in a smaller village in a nation of 34 million people. There's no rational expectation that they know any editors in the big city of Nairobi.

You insisted that this obscure website from 2004 was from Obama's hometown. You made that up. Obama's family lived no where near Nairobi.

You insisted that Obama told everyone he was born in Kenya. You made that up. You didn't even try and defend that imaginary nonsense.

Again and again, you hallucinate, invent, lie, and make up claims to justify your irrational emotional attachment to the birther conspiracy. As conspiracy theorists do. They'll ignore any evidence to cling to their conspiracy. They'll make up anything they can to cling to their conspiracy. Demonstrating my point elegantly.

Thank you!

1. Why would any rational person without your irrational emotional attachment to the birther conspiracy ignore Miriam Goderich, the woman who actually wrote the bio-blurb you claim to be citing.....and instead believe you?

You have no direct knowledge of anything being discussed. You have zero publishing experience. You don't know anyone involved. Miriam Goderich has extensive personal knowledge of what's being discussed with decades of publishing experience and knows everyone involved personally.

Yet you insists that you know better than she does? That's irrational and born from your emotional attachment to the birther conspiracy. It makes no sense.

2. One obscure Kenyan website modified an AP article once in 2004 by adding two words to it. That's literally it. They cited no evidence, they offered no explanation, the claimed no knowledge, no relationship with anyone involved, nor was that website based anywhere near where Obama's family lived. They just added the words 'Kenyan-born'.

You made up that the this was Obama's 'hometown newspaper'. It isn't. Its an obscure website based hundreds of miles from where Obama's family lived.

You made up that the editors knew Obama's family. They make no such claim. Nor is there any rational expectation that in a nation of 34 million people that the editors of this website had ever met Obama's family that lived hundreds of miles away in an obscure village. You hallucinated the entire claim to cling to the conspiracy you're emotionally attached to.

You made up
that the editors 'knew' that Obama was born in Kenya. They make no such claim. The AP article they copied claimed no such knowledge. You just pretended that they had knowledge that there's zero evidence they had. Citing only yourself.

3. Obama's grandmother, in the very call you claim to cite, repeatedly said that Obama was born in the United States. You've heard the call, you've heard her say over and over that Obama was born in the United States. But you hope that your audience hasn't.

Exactly as I've described, conspiracy theorists hunt for an ignorant audience. As you're doing now, hoping no one will actually listen to the call that contradicts you.

4. Obama's brother has never said that Obama was born in Kenya. Instead, he posted 3 Birther memes in 2017, sharing picture of a debunked 'Kenyan Birth Certificate' that had been making the rounds on conspiracy websites since 2012. And a picture of the passport of Obama's father.

And the 'birth certificate' that Malik cut and paste from Birther conspiracy websites is so fake that even YOU don't try to pass it off as legitimate. As it cited the Republic of Kenya in 1961. When the Republic of Kenya wasn't formed until 1964.

You know this. You just hope we don't.

You're always in search of an ignorant audience. As conspiracy theorists do. They know they don't have the evidence to carry their arguments. They know that the only way to expand their conspiracy is to find ignorant souls and try and get them emotionally attached to the conspiracy before they are exposed to the evidence that contradicts them.

Thank you again for demonstrating my point for me.

And yet all of the ones that haven't turned out to be true are pushed by people of your ilk.

After a day of reading your nonsense I wonder if you shouldn't be institutionalized.

All the ones that turned out to be true......against the LEGION that turned out to be blithering nonsense? Here's the idiotic conspiracy nonsense that Trump fed to his receptive MAGA base. Trump:

Promoted the Obama birther conspiracy, including entire made up investigators in Hawaii

Promoted the conspiracy that the brutal attack on Paul Pelosi with a hammer was staged

Did Trump believe every one of these nonsensical conspiracy claims? Or did he know that his MAGA base is so starved for fresh conspiracies that they'll believe any story he made up?

There are some wall texts here...hmmm...I just will tl;dr them.

I'll call it word diarrhea. When there is no substantial argument, it is bound to happen.

Its not like you'll read or address any of if its smaller. You're just looking for an excuse to ignore. Watch:

Trump promoted the conspiracy that the BLS numbers had been 'rigged' and 'faked' by the BLS commissioner.

Ignore away. You were always going to anyway.
