Its really not possible to "eliminate" public service unions, the First Amendment and freedom of association and all that. If public service employees want to hang out together and piss and moan about their job, drink beer at the union hall, etc., who cares?

However, it is possible and desirable to get rid of public service union collective bargaining, strikes and contracts.

And I would agree with that 1000%.

The idea of a liberal politician "negotiating" with his Big Labor patrons who financed his run is ridiculous.

And the idea of striking to force old ladies to eat cat food so they can pay the increased taxes for increased pay is stupid.

Christie fought the teachers union in NJ and lost. The NJ teachers union has made tax slaves of NJ taxpayers, funding their pie in the sky salaries, pensions and benefits. Many of the teachers drive high end German cars and own 2nd beach homes paid for by hardworking NJ taxpayers.

Christie tried to get the overlapping school districts to combine. Some teachers were teaching classes as small as 3 students. The union wouldn't budge.
