Why can't Israel fight its own wars??

Every time the State of Israel gets into a armed conflict - be it a skirmish or full-blown war, America is always expected to step in and lend a hand.

I didn't see the State of Israel busting its ass to help America during operation Iraq Freedom, or Desert Storm, or the war in Afghanistan, or the operation that killed Osama Bin Laden. But...let the State of Israel get into a war with Iraq, or any other middle east country, and America is supposed to drop whatever it's doing, and give Israel whatever it wants, WHENever it wants. If America does not, Israel can play the race card, cry "antisemitism" and play the role of the victim, reminding every one of the WW2 holocaust.

Wake up people! WW2 was 80+ years ago. Israel should not get to use America as its personal protector and piggybank. Maybe it's time Israel stood on its own two feet, just like every other country is expected to do.

Not a popular fact, so rarely mentioned, but FRance has voted with us in the UN more than the other two have. they also had the more aggressive stance against the Soviets and a much more aggressive nuclear defense policy; they made no secret of the fact that they have zero qualms about launching a first strike if the Soviets crossed the line, and now the same with Russia. Thing is , for the most part, it is the Arabs who bring these armed conflicts to Israel. Israel is for the most part fighting a defensive battle against people who are either attacking them, have attacked them, or are planning to attack them.

ITMT, Israel is smaller than the state of New Jersey.

If people would just leave Israel alone, I don't think they would be under constant war. How this one tiny country on unwanted land could be so much bother to so many others is beyond me. Without the USA, I don't think Israel could survive.
