Why Aren't They Arming Teachers?

Okay so every time a new school shooting happens I catch certain details about it, but I don't follow it too closely because even though it's tragic I'm sick of hearing about something that nobody seems to care about. What I mean by that is the only way school shootings are going to end is when at least most of if not all of the staff is armed. Otherwise these shootings are just going to keep happening again and again and it just really bums me out.




Nobody wants to do that because we're currently living underneath an administration who wants to take away our second amendment right and be taken over by China. If and when Trump gets back in office I think that it'll be a possibility at least hopefully. Some red states have already pursued with it, but unless a criminal knows that there's a probable chance that he is entering a gun zone, he's (or she's although I don't believe that there have been any known female shooters so far) just going to take away as many lives as he wants to. Whether they be children or adults. For the only true way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.



Btw, RIP to all the Nashville victims for the record.

Even newbie soldiers (trained in the use of firearms) freeze when asked to shoot at an enemy but we want teachers with maybe a couple of hours of training to take on a heavily armed assailant?

Our Teachers here have the right to be armed as long as they go through training. None of them are armed. In fact, the schools have deemed it unsafe for Teachers to be armed on school property due to the accidents from other teachers in other schools that were armed. Enmass, they elected to leave the guns home or lock them up in lock boxes. Instead, we use armed security. Colorado went from the #1 Mass Shooting State to the Zero Mass Shooting State after a few simple changes. And we did it without arming everyone.

Why Aren't They Arming Teachers?​

No one has suggested arming teachers.
Whenever someone says "...and YOU want to arm teachers..." they argue from ignorance or dishonesty.

WE want teachers - and administration and staff - to have the option to carry a gun, if they want to, in accordance with all of the relevant laws in their state.
There's no rational, reasoned argument against this idea.
