Experts: Florida gas supply not impacted by pipeline hack, fuel comes into ports on ships

WESH 2 News spoke with experts, who said they have an important message for Florida drivers: "There is plenty of gasoline."

WESH 2 News reporters saw people Wednesday lining up at gas stations, and some stations had gas pumps covered after a cyber hack shut down the Colonial Pipeline.

At Seaport Canaveral, they say they're full, with ample gasoline that's being loaded onto trucks and heading to Central Florida gas stations.

Demand is spiking to double, even triple the normal sales.

It also suggests Florida has all the gas it needs, as long as people buy only what they need.
