Depends on how much you spend. A person who makes $80k thinks they would save $120k a year if they made $200k a year but we all know the more you make the more you spend. I just hope you max out your 401k so it's not all for nothing.

You know what I mean. I agree. I'm going to start socking away $10k at a time. I just got a raise and already I'm making twice as much as what I was at my last job so I'd be stupid to just start spending more.

I love getting those investment statements from investments I made long ago that I can't touch till retirement and I love getting those. I think I should start doing stock market.
