Native Americans literally have their own separate country within our country, they are allowed to have their own separate police forces, governance and society. Greenlanders have almost been systematically assimilated by force into the Danish Realm. They are not remotely comparable.

Perhaps Denmark will have better luck remaining the owner of Greenland than the Native American's had remaining the owner of whatever the **** they thought they owned, because it really doesn't matter who lands a boat where at any given time if they cannot hold it, or someone makes them a better deal.

He’s right, it’s an autonomous territory, which means it’s got a much greater degree of independence and isn’t owned by them

Umm Hawaii was annexed by the United States in 1898 and Alaska was purchased in 1867

Eisenhower was born in 1890…not even alive when Alaska was bought and at 9, while he was a great man, he had nothing to do with annexing Hawaii
