An electrician or millwright that is willing to work the hours can make 100k where I work. Problem for us is not lack of jobs, it is lack of qualified people.

The USA can not forge big heavy stuff, like nuclear reactors, steam generators, or even reactor cooling pumps, those are the jobs I speak of.

Hmmmmm.......... I don't know where the 4" thick armor plate goes to, other than the GOI stuff, and I don't even know what Isreal uses that for. But we make steel plate, all sizes and types, including very high end armor plate. Also, we have a pipe mill, and manufacture pipe for oil and gas lines. A lot of plate we make goes into the stands for the wind turbines, here and abroad.
