A 4 star general got relieved during the middle of an armed conflict with Iran.

I keep wondering who leaked that a Col with an injured ankle was doing an E&E (escape and evasion) inside the enemy's lines.



Rumor has it Gen George was involved in a heated argument over the Iran war. He wanted to keep to diplomatic channels and negotiations rather than risking a war with Iran which he claimed wasn't a threat.

I think this is the primary reason he was relieved of command.
