From time immemorial, every society has had an ideal version of beauty. The fact that most women don't meet the ideal is just a fact of life. Go to Scandanavia and everyone knows that a Norwegian beauty has blonde hair, even though only a small fraction of the female population does. Italy has two different versions, north and south. Nobody gets particularly offended that they don't fit the mold. Spain has a different version of beauty entirely, not a blonde, ever. I presume that Black African societies have their own version of the perfect beauty; I'm not aware of it.
But there is a problem in the U.S. We have ethnicities that are dramatically different physically from the ideal that most of us recognize. Our perfect beauty is pretty much the same as England's. The most gross manifestation of the confusion is how Black and other POC men, when they become rich and/or famous, gravitate toward White women, mainly blonde White women, and this drives female POC's crazy.
To me, the interesting thing about this Sweeney woman is that she is not particularly pretty. She is "perfect," but only plain of face. Jennifer Anniston is (was) perfect.
But were I 50 years younger and given the opportunity, I would gladly swap bodily fluids with her, imperfect or not.
