As you noted in one of your other threads, you have read that new book Slanted, so you and I know that the American "mainstream" media have a narrative: Leftist riots good; rightist riots bad.

Facts do not matter. Only the narrative that the media want to foist on the nation counts.

That is why many people in this country (including me) no longer financially support any news source, either printed on paper or on the Internet.

Who do you trust for your news?

No one.

I read the headlines (not the articles) on Google News & the Daily Mail and listen to the headlines on the radio at the top of the hour.

I am not ashamed to admit that the thread titles here give me information that I would otherwise not know.

Like many other people, the only news that I "trust" is the weather reports, which are often wrong, too.

I simply accept that when it comes to the truth in the media, we are living in China or Russia.
