When I was a teenager during the 1970's I was mentored by a Jehovah's Witness missionary from the province of Saskatchewan who lived off his farm in Saskatchewan and did missionary work in Nova Scotia pretty much five or six days per week, [in a way even seven days a week].

I really liked how he knew the Bible so well and was willing to debate and discuss any Biblical topic with me. Back in those days I was in agreement with him on the topic of "Soul Sleep."

c. His Experience of the “Receiving Station”​

Jesus then takes Ritchie to another realm and is shown a kind of “receiving station” where spirits would arrive in a deep hypnotic sleep because of a particular religious belief they held to be true. Here there were “angels” trying to arouse them and help them realize, “God is truly a God of the living and that they did not have to lie around sleeping until Gabriel or someone came along blowing on a horn.” These are the spirits of people who believe they must sleep in their grave until the second coming of Christ (i.e., soul sleep.)

Who can tell what it is like?

I personally am glad that my Jehovah's Witness friend R.. F..... forced me to research the scriptures in order to figure out that at that time I fitted in better with the Worldwide Church of God than I did with the Jehovah's Witnesses. These days I attend Pentecostal or Charismatic churches with my wife. I will give you the link to the sermon that I went to this morning:

Pretty much like any church.... but no steeple.... because the Jehovah's Witnesses know that it is a pagan symbol.

In high school I had a Jehovah Witness teacher berate me for some meaningless thing and he ended up grabbing me by the collar because I talked back. Let's just say I wasn't nice in reply to that. Somebody reported it and he got a scolding and I got a new teacher.
