I never said they don’t release reports. What are you talking about? It appears they do sometimes, and other times they simply release a statement like they did this time see post 111

I thank you for providing that link. I may use it to start a thread of its own.
I didn't see any reports in that link, but I only went to page 4. If they are on later pages, give me a hint.
I do see a lot of statements about ongoing "matters" (not investigations). It seems that everytime any named or anonymous source makes an accusation to the ethics committee, it becomes a matter, which is then endlessly "extended," waiting for whatever.
I will say it is bi-partisan, in that about the same number of Dems as Reps appear to have "matters" before the Ethics Committee.
Still not sure what the point is of all this outcry. It seems the committee is following its standard procedures.

I understand why "Democrats" not "people" are upset about Matt Gaetz being named AG.
"People" overwhelmingly put Trump in office, not to mention re-electing Matt Gaetz, so "people" seem fine with it.

That’s terrible logic. What percentage of “people” know who Matt Gaetz is? What percentage of people know his wingman was arrested and convicted of human trafficking?
If everyone is so fine with it, then there’s no reason not to release the report that Republicans, especially Gaetz, really don’t want to release.
Matt and his family were victims of a extortist scam. Victims have rights and don’t need the reports made public

It applies to victims right. This entire case started as an extortion and blackmail attempt by two former fbi agents of the congressman
