A peace march outside the conflict zone results in deaths in the single digits so who stands to gain by this act? The people killed were Russian speaking Ukrainian loyalists which is strange.

I think It's one more Kiev provocation as it was in Volnovaha, in Donetsk bus station and many others. They don't intersted in peace and in their people lives. This self genocide was planned long ago.

Russia would be my guess. Nothing would suit their purposes better than to split the country internally. They probably do not even care if it becomes obvious it is them.
