You should read his accusation more closely. Yes, he was attempting to attack the Church by saying we teach and promote sorcery, witchcraft and magic. He was using a verse from The Book of Mormon falsely pushing the anti-Mormon attack that we teach those evils. This was very clear about his intentions and yours.
No one is pushing an attack by suggesting that the Mormon Church. He made no link about what the people of the BoM were doing at one time in their history with modern day Mormons.

You are delusional.

You should not drink and write nonsense online, little bubba.

Keep ignoring that he posted the verse from the Book of Mormon.

Keep ignoring that he posted the verse from the Book of Mormon.
He posted it as representative of the time in which those peoples lived, not now, and it was no attack on your Church.

Are you Bob Blaylock?

Because you said that the Church teaches sorcery, witchcraft and magic using that verse. The "People" that were practicing these evil things were not the members of the Church in those days. Yes, there was a Church of Jesus Christ in the Americas after the resurrection of the Lord. Before, it was just referred to the Church of God. Like the Bible, it's stories of the children of Israel in the Americas and their struggles with Pride and going from righteousness to unrighteousness. From the Knowledge of God to apostasy and back. That verse simply does not do what you originally said it did by stating The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints teaches the people to use sorcery, witchcraft and magic. It's apostates that say our garments are magic underware. We don't say that.

So, stop being a tool for lies. You have been corrected. Go ask your priest or minister for repentance. I never wrote "stating . That verse simply does not do what you originally said it did by stating The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints teaches the people to use sorcery, witchcraft and magic." Go back and read.

That is a lie. I said nothing of the sort. The Book of Mormon said the people of that time practiced it.

Do not write when drinking. You have it all read.

That verse said the people of the Book of Mormon at that time practiced it, not that the Church today practices it.

Are you able to read?

I wonder on occasion if the true historian is the modern equivalent of a prophetic Cassandra warning against the inevitable, while the vast majority of human beings double down on being so relentlessly stupid and simply refuse to learn.

The poll asks, "Who believes in the Mormon version of black magics, sorcery, and witchcraft?". In your mind, how do you define what the Mormon version of black magics, sorcery, and witchcraft are? Why would you think the Mormons have their own version of black magics, sorcery, and witchcraft?

No he did not. He was showing how Saints today in the Church teach evil. Ask him. Onefour1 wrote this: The poll asks, "Who believes in the Mormon version of black magics, sorcery, and witchcraft?". Sounds to me that he was stating "Mormons" have a version of what they teach concerning black magic... Sounds like you are telling others that the Church teaches evil.

I gave an post from the Book of Mormon, then gave a quote from McConkie on the church stance.

No, cougarbear, your interpretation is wack.

Apparently the people in the Old Testament and New Testament of the Bible also had magic, sorcery, and witchcraft among their people. Sounds like the peoples of the Book of Mormon were much like the peoples of the Bible.

Acts 8:9
9 But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:

Deuteronomy 18:10
10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,

3 Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel had lamented him, and buried him in Ramah, even in his own city. And Saul had put away those that had familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land.

8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

And I might add, much like the peoples of today.
