Thanks for your input everyone. I'd like to add Johnny Winter to my list. He helped revitalize the career of Muddy Waters in the mid to late 1970's. And he was one heck of a slide guitarist as well.

johnny was the first white guy inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame......
