What are some of your favorite live albums in any genre?

I don't like live albums. It's one thing when you're at a concert yourself, emotionally involved in the show and quite another when you're subjected to listening to the worsened version of the original.

Boogie Kings. Live at the Bamboo Hut in Galveston.

Do you like live performances?

🙂 It's like when cats, dogs, geese and whatever chickens save the world lately on YouTube every ******* second. AI can do anything these days, yeah.

The Allman cover photo was taken in Macon, GA and not at the Fillmore. Duane had just scored immediately before the photo, hence his closed hand
Interesting! Never having been there, I assumed the photo was in some alley in New York. Fantastic band, The Allman Brothers, this is a must-have album for anyone that appreciates great southern rock.

The other album, was my introduction to both Joe Cocker and several of his songs that would go not to be hits, and staples of bar bands, back in the day, seeing the concert film compiled from the many shows of the tour, at a drive in movie, even with the horrible drive in speakers. This was also my introduction to the talents of Leon Russel. It is another must have album for fans of either one. Russel, of course as musician and musical director of the tour throwing the band and rehearsals together about 10 days before the actual tour started, after Cocker was informed by his management company, he was to start a US tour. Leon made it work.
