The graph he made in the 1980's predicted exactly what has happened as far as temperature is concerned. Yes, he did miss a vital point. The results of the increase in temperature have been far more severe, happening sooner than he predicted. The Northwest Passage did not wait to the end of this century to open for the first time, it opened in 2007. And in 2016 it was open enough for a 1000 passenger luxury liner to transit the passage.
