Dumbass, the only reason why Iraqi children starved at the beginning of the embargo is that we weren't allowing food shipments. BUt by the time of the Iraq war, the Oil for Food program was allowing enough food to get in while still denying Saddam the ability to rebuild his military and WMD infrastructure.

We could have also taken the very rational step of letting the UN Inspectors finish their job after Saddam gave in and let them come back. But here's the thing, Four divisions were deployed to the theatre, contracts had been inked with the War Profiteers like Halliburton, and we wuz gonna have ourselves a war.

Which people like you oddly did not sign up to fight in. Let some poor kid do it.
