The problem is that China has increased it's oil imports from Russia and most certainly they will do so now that they have a deal in place. MSM has been silent, as they often are on such inconvenient facts.

In fact, it was probably a precursor agreement between he and Xi before he went in. Without this deal, does Putin risk Nordstream?

Of course not. Xi and Putin outmaneuvering the West yet again and everyone acts surprise. It's a reason I say that China is going to win. They laugh at how bad their competition is. I guarantee you many of them are surprised at how easy it is.
