Is anyone stupid enough to believe that Mr. Etch-a-Sketch would have put his political ass on the line, and taken a huge risk to approve the operation that killed Bin Laden?

I do... anyone with half a brain would have given the knod to off Osama, including Jimmy Carter.

Conservatives don't trust Romney. That's a fact. And now, those self-same conservatives like Bachmann, Santorum, and Gingrich who warned the GOP that Romney was not conservative enough nor genuine in his new found stated beliefs are now going to endorse him and try to convince everyone to vote for him?

All that serves to accomplish (and I'm glad of it, I must admit) is that Bachmann, Santorum, Gingrich et al. can no more be trusted to tell the truth than Romney. It's a black mark on the entire party.
