Something like 90% of the country lives in towns smaller than Ft Worth Texas which is very strong Red State.

Note that two-thirds of the 100 largest cities are under control of Democratic mayors.

But that is changing as more moderate small town Democrat mayors are finding the national Democratic Party untenable.

According to new numbers just released from the U.S. Census Bureau, 80.7 percent of the U.S. population lived in urban areas as of the 2010 Census, a boost from the 79 percent counted in 2000.

None of the 4 largest cities in Texas are run by the GOP, Red state or not.

Mccain got 31% of latino vote in 2008, Romney got 27% and Trump got 28%. Not statistically significant difference. Cankles got 66% of latino vote.
